To anyone considering the Chinese Medicine approach for fertility.

To anyone considering a Chinese Medicine approach, I would like to share my story.

We had been trying to have a baby for about 4 years. I got pregnant 3 times with no assistance, but all ended in first trimester miscarriages. Because of my losses I was referred to a Reproductive Endocrinologist. I was put on fertility medication even though I was getting pregnant on my own. The result was I got pregnant and I had my fourth loss, I had just turned 38. With no answers and getting older by the second we were exploring all options.

I met Dr. Tan at a Resolve meeting in February 2003. This was shortly after my 4th miscarriage. After meeting Dr. Tan my husband and I decided we were interested in trying this path.

I started my treatments in March 2003. I found out that I was pregnant in August 2003.
I continued treatments throughout my entire pregnancy. In April of 2004 I gave birth to a healthy baby girl, I was 39 at the time.

When we decided we wanted to attempt to extend our family I started seeing Dr. Tan again. However, I was not as strict following the foods this time or about my visits. I got pregnant 2 times and both resulted in loss. I then at 43 decided to follow every step as I did the first time. I got pregnant again with no fertility meds. I continued to see Dr. Tan throughout my pregnancy.
In February 2009 I gave birth to a healthy baby boy. I had just turned 44.

Acupuncture can not fix everything for everyone. But it did worked for us, where nothing else did. If you have any questions about my experience I would be happy to talk to you.
Dr. Tan can give you my contact information.
